Pimlico Race Course

Detail: Historic Pimlico race course is home of one of horse-racing's Triple Crown runs, The Preakness. Pimlico opened it's doors in 1870, making it the second oldest horsetrack in the U.S. (behind Saratoga). Many of  racing's greats have run this track, including Man O' War, Seabiscuit, Citation, and Secretariat. Currently, Pimlico encompasses 140 acres, with both dirt and turf tracks, and stables for 500 horses.
